Together with partners from India and the Netherlands, I have been involved in making a spatial vision for the future of this Indian metropolis. Delhi is expected to have 35 million inhabitants in 2050, which poses a tremendous challenge. Besides contributions to town planning, water and energy supply, I have focussed on the strong impact of infrastructure planning on the future spatial development of Delhi.
